The Everest Files nominated for the TSBA Junior Award 2016

  • Tuesday 30 June 2015

We’re thrilled to share the news that Matt Dickinson’s young adult book, The Everest Files, has been nominated for the Trinity Schools Book Awards. An adventure story based in the Himalaya, this is the first book Matt has published with Vertebrate and we eagerly anticipate working with him on future projects, including the second instalment in the The Everest Files series, which is due to be published later this year.

Librarians from twenty-two independent senior schools, in London and the South East, launched the TSBA in 2014. The award’s aim is to celebrate quality writing, including both recently published titles and older favourites. Each year a theme is chosen – this year’s award centres upon ‘Voyages and Journeys’. Students and staff from the participating schools will be reading the shortlisted books through the autumn and spring terms, before voting for the winner in February.

Matt Dickinson – who is the author of eleven books and an award-winning documentary filmmaker – has been invited to join the author panel at the awards ceremony on 9 March 2016.  Best of luck Matt!
