Get a free copy of Dolpo: People and Landscape with every Jagged Globe trip to Dolpo
- Wednesday 9 December 2015
Adventure travel company Jagged Globe are giving away free copies of Gerda Pauler's Dolpo: People and Landscape to anyone who books one of their trips to the Dolpo region or a trek they are running to support PHASE (Practical Help Achieving Self Empowerment), which raises funds for disadvantaged communities in remote Himalayan regions.
In 2012, Gerda trekked the length of the Great Himalaya Trail to raise awareness of autism in Nepal. Travelling across the country, she visited isolated villages, interviewed Dolpo's inhabitants and took a number of beautiful and revealing photographs of the region's mountains and pasturland. The Dolpo community inspired her new book, published 16 November, which is available to purchase HERE.
