30% off all cycling books as Vertebrate hits double figures
Friday, 1st August 2014
This month we’re celebrating ten years since the release of our first title, Dark Peak Mountain Biking. Over sixty books later and here we are – one of the country’s leading independent outdoor publishers, with a host of award-winning titles under our belt. As a thank you to our customers, we’re offering 30% off all cycling and mountain biking books throughout August. See the entire range here.
Commenting on our anniversary milestone, managing director Jon Barton said:
‘We’re thrilled to be celebrating ten years of publishing. After a decade of producing books, Vertebrate still has its edge thanks to its eye for strong design and outspoken enthusiasm for the outdoors. We’re incredibly lucky to work with the authors, photographers and organisations that we do – it’s through these partnerships that we can continue to produce leading outdoor books.’
We’ve grown considerably since our humble beginnings: we acquired respected hill walking, mountaineering and rock climbing publisher Bâton Wicks and the much-loved walking and climbing publisher, Millrace Outdoor in 2013. We’re also partnered with the online adventure film website SteepEdge.
We’ll continue to commission exciting new print and e-book titles – our autumn releases include Statement, the biography of legendary British climber Ben Moon, the eagerly anticipated biography of Alex MacIntyre, One Day As A Tiger, and the beautifully crafted The Great Mountain Crags of Scotland. So you can look forward to plenty more inspiring Vertebrate titles to fuel your adventures!
Tenth anniversary offer: 30% off* all Vertebrate cycling and mountain biking books throughout August.
(*Discount automatically applied to cycling and mountain biking titles at checkout.)
