Vertebrate Publishing authors at the Kendal Mountain FestivalThursday, 15th November 2018 to Sunday, 18th November 2018
We'll be at the Kendal Mountain Festival again this year, supporting our authors, attending talks and selling our wares. You'll find the Vertebrate bookshop within the courtyard in the Brewery Arts Centre.
There's a fantastic film and literature programme this year at Kendal and a number of our authors are taking part in events and presenting lectures.
Boardman Tasker Prize for Mountain Literature

Nick Bullock, Doug Scott, John Beatty and Ed Douglas all have books shortlisted for this year's Boardman Tasker Award and they will be appearing in conversation with Stephen Venables as part of the event. Find out more here.
Nadir Khan: Extreme Scotland – Book launch

Award-winning adventure-sports photographer Nadir Khan will be taking us on a jaw-dropping tour through Scotland’s epic mountain landscape, showcasing his work with some of the best adventure athletes in the world – including Ines Papert and James Pearson. Find out more here.

Mick Fowler – No Easy Way – Book launch

Award-winning author and climber Mick Fowler will be recounting a series of expeditions to the far-flung corners of the greater ranges in order to attempt remote mountains most Westerners will never have seen, let alone climbed. Find out more here.

KFM is hosting the official UK launch for Waymaking, our anthology of women's adventure. A number of the contributors will be sharing their experiences of outdoor adventure and talking about their writing, poetry and visual art. Find out more here.
