In his talk entiled It Takes a Big Dog, Nick will be revealing the story behind the headlines, when in 2015 he and his climbing partner Greg Boswell narrowly avoided a confontation with a grizzly bear while exploring the Canadian Rookies. A former prison guard, who left his post to explore the world's mountains and cliffs, Nick will be talking about the daring mountaineering feats that made him one of Britain's best climbers. Combining stunning photography, exciting film clips and a showing of a UKClimbing production of Nick and Jeff Mercier climbing the Rive Gauche above the Argentiere Glacier, Chamonix it's an event not to be missed!
