Schools have been in touch to say they'd love a copy of Fantastic Female Adventurers but don't have a budget, can you help?

Thursday, 5 September 2019
With the publication of Fantastic Female Adventurers we want to encourage as many boys, girls (and adults!) as possible to enjoy the benefits of having adventures in the outdoors.

If you'd love to help us, here's how:
You can nominate a school of your choosing to a receive a library copy of the book by sending us a PayPal donation of £5 to orders@v-publishing.co.uk and a message stating the name and address of the school.

The call for more books by and featuring a diverse range of voices, particularly female role models, has never been stronger. With contributions from round the world cyclist Jin Jeong, ocean swimmer Beth French, mountain runner Mira Rai, Britain’s first astronaut Helen Sharman and many more, we hope Fantastic Female Adventurers will inspire children and adults of all ages that they can do incredible things too.

Your donation will pay for the book's print cost, postage and packing and the author's royalty – a proportion of which will be gifted to a number of charities chosen by the adventurers, including Girl Guiding, The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, The Spinal Injuries Association and Surfers Against Sewage.

Schools have that already benefitted from your donations and free competition copies are:
