As usual, it's all wrapped up in a typically efficient and precise Vertebrate guide package. Clear maps, concise directions and inspiring photography from both Haworth himself and the ever reliable John Coefield - the picture of Willykay Clough on page 85 alone is worth the cover price. This guide is a superb introduction to a little known mountain biking mecca. Get to it.

Benjamin Haworth has been writer for almost ten years, a photographer for fifteen years and a mountain biker for twenty years. He has written countless magazine features and route guides for the UK mountain bike press, most notably for the esteemed and highly regarded Singletrack Mountain Bike Magazine. Although he's a born and bred Lancastrian, he freely admits that West Yorkshire is his favourite place to ride.
