Saturday 2 July saw the launch of Deirdre Huston's new book Day Walks on the South Downs. The National Trust kindly threw open the doors to the rarely-open threshing barn at Saddlescombe Farm for the event, and well over 100 people came along during the course of the afternoon to chat to Deirdre, see (and buy!) the new book, enjoy an exhibition of Deirdre's South Downs photography and generally just share a passion for the UK's newest National Park.
